Well, all things considered, this wasn't nearly as bad as it could have been.

Normally I do not mind late night talking, but I assume you would prefer to speak to who you actually intended to contact.

I haven't really had many opportunities to listen to poetry, so I'm not exactly an expert on the matter.

Then excuse my first idea! Perhaps I can send you some poetry for someone who is only first learning to appreciate it! Nothing pages long. Once you're well-read you can even write your own for anyone you might fancy.
