[This text might or might not have been for you... A misfire that isn't entirely sober either- Hello!]
I’ve found that there is an epically long poem called The Faerie Queene by a sir named Edmund Spenser. Apparently one of the longest ones to ever exist. Would you listen if I read every verse to you?
[Who is this? Nanaki wasn't expecting any messages, and suddenly he gets a text from someone who he doesn't know. It takes a little bit to reply, but with his new kinetic magic he manages to type back a response.]
Hm, no. I think bothering him when he knows how to expect it is better.
[Seems that Venti is used to bullying that person at midnight.]
Then excuse my first idea! Perhaps I can send you some poetry for someone who is only first learning to appreciate it! Nothing pages long. Once you're well-read you can even write your own for anyone you might fancy.

Who is this?

I thought we were better than acquaintances.

Aren't you the one who should do introductions?

But, if you insist, I suppose you already have my attention... How long is it?
no subject
Somebody that I used to know~
Ah! But I believe the poem is well over a thousand pages! Isn't that a wonderful feat?!
no subject
You intend to type out a thousand pages?

Fine. But don't be alarmed if I fall asleep during it.

[He pauses, a thought coming to him.]
I have a question. What is my name?

I believe you are mistaken. Unless the name you called was Nanaki.
no subject
That sounds like a type of candy.

This is who you've been talking to all this time. Whoever you think I am, I am not that person.
no subject
Well that explains quite a lot. Ehehehe.
My apologies, I thought you were someone who might enjoy poetry and midnight chatting! I hope you can forgive the flirting!
no subject
Normally I do not mind late night talking, but I assume you would prefer to speak to who you actually intended to contact.
no subject
So tell me my friend, do you actually have an interest in poetry?
no subject
I haven't really had many opportunities to listen to poetry, so I'm not exactly an expert on the matter.

Hm. I would not say no to learning something new.
[He's never been one for writing or literature, but he does like hearing stories. Were poems like stories?]
Though perhaps at a more reasonable hour.
no subject
Aw, come now. Sometimes the best stories come from a mind that is on the verge of dreams.

Alright, I'll let you rest your head. But next time, prepare for a few poems that might be better suited to your liking. Is that alright?
no subject
Very well. I can agree to that arrangement.
no subject
Good! Sleep well, friend!
