PERSONALITY The biggest aspect of Red XIII's personality is his strong sense of honour and courage that he displays. This has been a strong enough force to make him initially believe his father was a coward for fleeing Cosmo Canyon during an invasion of the Gi tribe, not realizing his father's actions actually helped save the Canyon from disaster. He is also rather polite and observant, and a little curious. He has a slight distaste for humans due to his capture and treatment as a test subject, but he's able to warm up to humans he deems are friendly. He is also very intelligent and knows much about the Planet, which comes from his time growing up in Cosmo Canyon and learning from his grandfather, Bugenhagen. This intelligence, however, puts him in a unique place of being not quite human and not quite animal. Though he has talked to Vincent about this and has come to terms with who he is, he does still struggle with this duality from time to time. QUIRK IN-DEPTH: He has to follow various rules outlined in the Law of the Jungle, and can be bound by an oath, sworn on something of significance (like the "by the lock that freed me" from the original book); after swearing such an oath, Red XIII is bound to fulfill whatever promise he made until it is completed or until freed of his duty.
